Taken-back EEE is not waste as defined by the Waste Act, so a decision of the regional authority to collect waste under this Act is not required to set up a collection point. The only condition is to provide a space with sufficient capacity for collecting the WEEE.

Cooperation is open to municipalities that provide regular mobile hazardous waste collections, which collect discarded non-functioning electrical equipment.

After concluding the contract, the mobile hazardous waste collection system remains the same, but the costs of processing this electrical equipment are fully assumed by the ASEKOL compliance scheme.
